About Me

Xolana is a non-union voice actor who grew up in the United States and is disabled with sensorineural hearing impairment. Her love for acting started in second grade when she was chosen to play the usherette in her school production of Annie JR. After, she was chosen for her first lead role as Dorothy in her school production of the Wizard of Oz. She has also worked behind the scenes, whether its helping younger kids get into makeup or working behind the curtains, moving props throughout scene changes to help bring the magic to life. Her passion in theatre led her to voice acting where she spends her days voicing for projects or for fun with her friends! She also enjoys voice directing for projects. What she loves about the creative process is seeing voice actors grow through consistent feedback line by line and scene by scene as she continues to collaborate with them. She wants to inspire and encourage her fellow voice actors to put themselves in their characters shoes and perform with their most authentic selves through practice, effort and hard work through their journey in voiceover.Other fun facts about Xolana is that she enjoys video editing and is a Hoyocreator on YouTube. She currently does edits of her favorite fandoms such as but not limited to Star Wars, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.

Rules and Equipment

Compensation
Paid projects are $2 USD per line but I'm completely fine being unpaid
As of right now I accept payments via PayPalRules
1. Swearing: Mild swearing is okay but please do not give me slurs of any kind, especially racial slurs.
2. NSFW: I'm not comfortable with voicing over NSFW content with the exception of some comments being slightly suggestive.
3. Professionalism: I'm completely alright with some side conversations with the team as I enjoy talking with people but when contacting me about a role, please be more formal about it and give me all the details (Range, Personality, etc) up front as it saves the time of both you and me.
4. Content: I'm alright with voicing content such as animations, comic dubs, games, audio narrations and visual novels. I will not do any sort of fan dubbing over existing content, such as a scene from a movie as this violates the IP of copyright holders and is disrespectful to the original voice actor. The only exception to fan content is comic dubs and any kind of original work (Example: Fan animations with the appropriate credits given or text posts as long as theres some form of original work).
5. Feedback: If you approach me after recording to give feedback for lines, I expect it in a constructive form. For both my colleagues and myself, I will not tolerate "putting down". This includes terms such as "Your acting is below average than the other voice actors". This is a space where we all can learn and grow so please act like it.
6. AI: Please don't use AI in any part of your project. As of right now my only exception is if AI is used to help debug code in games but should not be used as your primary coder. I also do not consent having my voice used for AI in any way. if you have concerns, feel free to ask me directly!
7. Have Fun!: We're collaborating so we might as well have some fun along the way. This should be an experience we should all enjoy together.

Currently my range sits on the female young adult range sliding up to a female child's voice. I can do both realistic and cartoon voices and can move between a variety of emotions whether its happy or devastated to angry and love expressing my voice through different emotions.Other Ranges
